Spondylolisthesis
Spondylolisthesis is a condition in which a vertebra (bone), usually in the lower back, slips out of position and onto the bone below it.
There are two common forms: congenital spondylolisthesis is a condition some are born with and acquired spondylolisthesis develops over time from a degenerative disease like arthritis.
Spondylolisthesis symptoms vary from mild to severe in intensity and can be localized to the lower back, present with extreme muscle tightness in the hamstrings, as well as stiffness and pain in the thighs and buttocks.
Our Approach
Treatment of spondylolisthesis is designed to reduce pressure on the lower back. We will reduce the spasm the condition with Trigger Point Therapy and Fascial Manipulation to eliminate the strain on the muscles that support the spine.
We use a highly specific approach of Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP) Technique, Pettibon System, 3-D Mirror Image Adjusting technique to reduce vertebrae pressure. X-rays and MRI may be used to further evaluate your condition.
